Presidential Visit to Chatfield, Minnesota

The President’s motorcade and press bus parked outside of Potter Auditorium in Chatfield, Minnesota.

After hours of anticipation, President Obama’s motorcade advanced from Cannon Falls, Minnesota, through Zumbrota and Rochester, and down to Chatfield where I was stationed. With a flocking crowd of spectators, a long trail of security officials, and about every law enforcement vehicle within the area the President arrived and made a surprise stop at Potter Auditorium. This small town of about 3,000 got an opportunity that doesn’t come around every day. The President also stopped in Harmony, MN, and Decorah, Iowa where he stayed overnight. To get further details and pictures on the President’s visit, check out Below are some pictures that I captured amongst the mass of people.
